Mat 10:1: and when He had called unto his twelve disciples, He gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.
When God says all He means ALL, no matter what the doctors would have diagnosed. Sickness is different from disease in that sickness involves bacterial infection whereas disease involves demonic oppression/attack and disease simply means there would be a dis ease thus not being at ease. The Lord gave the disciples power which was the sign that God would be with them for He says ‘where two or three are gathered in my name I will be among them’ (Mat 18:20). The Lord gave the disciples power to remove afflictions first and other things would follow later i.e. cars, houses etc. All who gather and wait for the will of God will never miss it. God sent his son Jesus Christ who had not the thoughts of men to come and live on earth as a man (Phil 2:8) and to introduced the power of God.
Jesus Christ first came to Zebulun and Naphtali, a land to which
was said He would honour Galilee by the way of the sea along the Jordan,
the people walked in darkness have seen great light, those living in
the land of the shadow of death, a light has downed’ (Is 9:1-2). John
said light came and dwelt amongst us but darkness could not comprehend
it (John 1:5), darkness was rendered powerless. There might be some
form of darkness in your life, no matter what name it is called; (spirit
of goblets, ancestral spirits etc), when light comes, darkness goes
(pauya chiedza rima pfocho). The word of God says ‘Be ye not drunk with
wine but by the power of the Holy Spirit’ (Eph 5:18), the power which
when it comes dissipates all evil and nothing will remain the same.
When Jesus Christ came into the Synagogue, He found the people involved
in forex exchange and selling wares and He turned the tables upside down
(Mat 21:12).
Maybe there is the same scenario in your life but it will not remain the same after today for I declare in your presence that the devil is a liar and a qualified loser and all will be well with you. Jesus Christ gave the disciples power to heal ALL manner of sickness and whether you are tormented by cancer, TB, HIV/AIDS, its your time to be healed, be in divine health. He gave the power to heal diseases because diseases bring confusion: when you are about to wed, you end up with a heartbreak, when you venture into building an empire, you end up broke. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever therefore, every sickness, disease and failure must go. There are some people who get used to their calamity e.g. the crippled man at the pool of Bethseda (John 5). No matter the intensity of your situation, you must be assured that when the power that was/in Jesus Christ is present, it is the power that heals and changes situations. The Lord is still at work and what He did in Capenaume, Galilee etc, will be done today because the same spirit which was in him has been released to the Church (BWC) today and the church must move in such a domino.
